IP Administrators’ Course (22 Apr to 28 May 2009) (Back to top page)
IP Administrators are involved in the planning, administration, coordination and implementation of administrative processes and projects relating to IP prosecution, searches, agreements, investigations and litigation activities. Senior administrators can play a supervisory or managerial position in IP firms and departments overseeing IP functions. IP Administrators provide essential services in-house in companies or in legal and specialist IP firms. In companies, someone trained in IP administration would most certainly also effectively value-add to internal company processes in IP management. Co-organised by the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA – SG) and supported by the IP Office of Singapore (IPOS), this Course aims to provide participants with a foundation of IP knowledge and the basic skills needed by IP Administrators either working in-house or in IP firms.
