据了解，蒋志培庭长即将退休，正在举行的全国人大常委十一届第四次会议将通过免去他最高法院审判委员委员、民三庭庭长和审判员职务任免令。蒋志培今天上午在新疆乌市举行的一个知识产权法律适用培训班上自暴信息，称这是“自己以公职身份上最后一次授课”，今后要称“蒋志培博士”了，他可是人民大学毕业的货真价实的法学硕士和法学博士，他现还兼任中国人民大学法学院等院校的教授，也可以只称“蒋教授”了。

蒋志培称他为党工作已过了40年，已进入“夕阳无限好、只是近黄昏”的时段。为年富力强的同志让路，让他们去承担开创未来的重任，是历史发展的必然，也是自然规律的要求。蒋志培表示现在退休也可以发挥余热，可以在知识产权等法学教育、法律宣传和法律服务等方面作些工作，特别可以用自己的独特的知识和经验为企业服务，帮助他们解惑答疑，提高运用知识产权法律制度的水平。蒋志培说他决不利用“余权”打关系谋私。

蒋志培说，退休后是进入了一个新的具有挑战性的人生阶段，仍要不断更新知识，做些想做的事，要注重健康，不断自我完善，轻松自得。蒋志培博士为了找到需要自己知识和经验的企业，特别再次“晒晒”自己学历和工作经历：

   蒋志培， 1949年10月出生，1984年12月北京市法律业余大学法律专业毕业，1989年7月中国高级法官培训中心民法专业毕业，1991年7月北京市西城区职工大学英语专业毕业，1992年2月北京语言学院出国部英语专业结业，1995年7月取得中国人民大学法学硕士学位，2001年1月研究生毕业取得中国人民大学民商法学博士，2003年9月至2006年7月在北京外国语大学英语专业学习获得英语专业大学本科学历；曾在英国伯明翰大学法学院、美国约翰马歇尔法学院、美国天普大学法学院任高级访问学者，国家法官学院、中国政法大学、武汉大学、华中理工大学兼职教授；中国人民大学民商法学研究基地研究员、教授。

   1968年6月在黑龙江生产建设兵团参加工作，1975年在黑龙江八一农垦大学进修农学、农机技术专业，任统计员、农业技术员等； 1979年10月后到北京市西城区人民法院任书记员、助理审判员、审判员，民庭副庭长、庭长，1985年任该院副院长；1990年1月经遴选任最高人民法院民庭助理审判员、审判员、涉外港澳台组审判组长，1993年9月任副局级审判员；1995年2月任最高人民法院知识产权办公室副主任；1996年10月任最高人民法院知识产权庭副庭长；2000年8月任最高人民法院民事审判第三庭（知识产权审判庭）庭长，同年10月任最高人民法院审判委员会委员。中华人民共和国一级高级法官。

2004年、2005年连续被推选为全球50个知识产权法律知名人士之一。中国法学会知识产权法研究会副会长、中国版权协会副理事长、中国知识产权研究会常务理事、国际知识产权协会中国分会（AIPPI）副会长、中国科技法学会常务理事、 中国法官学会理事。
