first round of competition
l each team will present two oral arguments, one for petitioner, and the other for respondent, each for 30 minutes, against a different opposing team; there will be a 5 minute rebuttal and a 5 minute surrebuttal
l a three-judge panel will preside over each presentation, who will pose questions during the presentation
l the team will “win” or “lose” with a score as to its overall performance, but the court does not have to give an on-spot decision. it’s up to the judges to give a decision or opinions |

l 每场辩论有三名法官主持，法官可以提问
